The 140th Autumn Canton Fair has wrapped up. As a key window for China’s foreign trade, the show brings together buyers from around the world, with advanced manufacturing, smart equipment, and new energy industrial sectors drawing the heaviest traffic. Agera brought three core resistance welding machines to the floor. Our booth stayed busy throughout, and the response from overseas and domestic customers was strong.
We didn’t bring a long equipment list this time. Instead, we picked the three machines that match the overseas demand we see most: auto parts, new energy, hardware manufacturing, and construction machinery. On display were the nut projection welding workstation, the large-section flash butt welder, and the intelligent medium-frequency spot welder. All three are mature models refined over more than 20 years, built around real production pain points — volume production, high-precision welds, and heavy-duty workpiece welding.
During the show, our booth received more than 40 global buyers a day on average, with visitors from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, South America, and Europe. Many didn’t just walk past. They stopped to watch the machines run, ask about process parameters, and compare finished weld samples. The words we heard most were stable welding, low spatter, high efficiency, and low energy consumption. Several buyers said that after comparing several exhibitors, Agera’s equipment accuracy, automation level, and overall cost-performance fit overseas factory production needs better.
Among the three, the automatic nut projection welding workstation drew the most attention from auto parts manufacturers. Automatic feeding, precise positioning, even weld spots, and compatibility with multiple nut sizes — it takes over the old problems of low manual efficiency, spot deviation, and unstable yield.
The biggest reaction at the booth came from the large-section flash butt welder. When we told overseas buyers this machine can weld workpieces up to 20,000mm² in cross-section, many were surprised. Most flash butt welders on the market struggle with oversized profiles and bars. This one relies on a high-strength frame, a stable hydraulic upsetting system, and precise PLC control of the welding sequence. Weld strength reaches base material standard, making it suitable for construction machinery, rail transit, and heavy structural components. Heavy manufacturing buyers spent the most time around this machine.
The intelligent medium-frequency spot welder was where small and mid-sized manufacturers stopped longest. Energy-saving, mark-free welding, capable of joining copper to aluminum dissimilar metals, and compatible with galvanized sheet and high-strength steel — one machine covers a wide range of jobs, which makes it easy to adopt and quick to pay back for smaller factories.
For us, the Canton Fair is more than a product showcase. Beyond a large number of intent customers reaching preliminary cooperation agreements, several qualified overseas buyers have booked follow-up factory visits. They plan to see our production floor, equipment lines, R&D, and quality control systems in person, laying the groundwork for volume orders and long-term cooperation.
Agera has been building welding equipment for over 20 years, driven by technical innovation and real customer needs. Our R&D system, production processes, and after-sales support have been built up over time. Our products are sold in many countries and regions worldwide. This Canton Fair was a recognition of where we stand — and a new starting point for going global. Next, we’ll keep advancing intelligent welding technology, improving product performance and automation solutions, and bringing high-quality “Made in China” smart manufacturing to more factories around the world.
