On May 28, 2026, Agera Automation held the first session of its “Resistance Welding Process and Equipment Maintenance Training” with strong participation from customers and engineering professionals.
The training focused on real-world industry pain points. Using a combination of classroom theory and hands-on practice, we helped attendees systematically understand core resistance welding technologies and improve their ability to maintain and troubleshoot equipment. The feedback on-site was very positive.
Quality Built on Experience – Led by a 25-Year Veteran
As a recognized company in the resistance welding field, Agera has always put customers first, valued practical expertise, and kept innovating.
For this training, we invited one of our senior process engineers with 25 years of hands-on experience to lead the sessions. The curriculum covered:
From principles to applications – deep dive into the three key elements of resistance welding (current, pressure, time) and how to set parameters correctly
From operation to maintenance – electrode selection, core techniques for spot and projection welding, and how to identify and fix common defects
From theory to practice – daily machine care, quick diagnosis of common problems like cold welds and spatter
One attendee commented: “The content was clear and detailed — they even explained the hidden causes of welding defects that we never fully understood before.”
Real Skills in Real Conditions – Hands-On Workshop
In the afternoon, the practical session was led by the head of Agera‘s technical service team. The training took place in our sample welding workshop, with step-by-step instruction.
Full process coverage – attendees worked on spot welders, projection welders, capacitive discharge welders, diffusion welders, and flash butt welders
Close interaction – participants practiced in small groups, with instructors correcting techniques on the spot to ensure they could apply what they learned immediately
Real problems solved – we addressed specific production challenges raised by attendees and provided practical solutions
One participant said: “I didn’t expect the training to be so hands-on. After running the machines myself, many technical details finally made sense.”
