Addressing Process Challenges of Heat-Dissipation Separator Plates for Nuclear Power
This patent targets the automated welding challenge of heat-dissipation separator plates for steam turbines in nuclear power plants. It innovatively designs a dedicated clamping mechanism adapted to a corrugated base plate structure and a multi-axis collaborative welding system. Through a rigid-flexible coupling clamping scheme, it achieves stable positioning and free 360° flipping of complex curved plates. Together with a dual-robot welding unit featuring 3D module drive capability, it accurately performs high-quality automated welding of fin arrays on both the front and back sides.
This technological breakthrough effectively overcomes the process bottleneck of continuous welding of irregular components at multiple angles and positions, significantly improving workpiece consistency and production efficiency.
