Analyzing the Characteristics of Capacitor Energy Storage Spot Welding Machine

The capacitor energy storage spot welding machine employs a welding method based on capacitor energy storage. It features precise output current, minimal impact on the power grid, rapid response, and automatic pressure compensation digital circuit. This ensures that the voltage is preset before each discharge, guaranteeing consistency in welded products.

With a discharge time of less than 20ms, the resistance heat generated by the parts has already dissipated, and the welding process is completed, starting the cooling process. This minimizes deformation and discoloration of the welded parts.

The charging voltage stops and switches to discharge welding only after reaching the set value, resulting in minimal energy fluctuations during welding, ensuring stable welding quality. The 12-bit ADC (analog-to-digital converter) with incremental approach has a sampling rate of up to 100KSps to maintain charging voltage accuracy within ±0.5v.

Special design of the charging circuit and control system enables fast and stable charging, resulting in minimal oxidation and deformation of the weld surface, eliminating the need for grinding processes. Welding time is short, typically only 0.003-0.006s, and cannot be adjusted.

The welding pressure can be adjusted through the cylinder setting, ensuring stable pressure and consistent welding quality. The discharge time of the welding machine is extremely short, with an actual measured time of around 10ms. The benefit of such a short welding time is minimal heat impact: minimal workpiece deformation and hardly any discoloration.

Specialized fast charge-discharge capacitors are used, preventing blackening of the weld points and eliminating the need for grinding processes. Internal voltage stabilizing devices ensure constant output voltage, resulting in good welding consistency.

The machine features maximum protection for charging voltage, ensuring stable welding quality with charging voltage error within ±2V and energy error within 1%. This guarantees high current stability, and with PLC control, the energy storage voltage remains unaffected by fluctuations in the power grid voltage.
