Pre-pressing Time: The time from the start of the switch to the action of the cylinder (movement of the electrode head) to the discharge (welding) is called pre-pressing time. If the time is too short, it may cause the workpiece to be pressed after the discharge has already started, resulting in sparking and no welding. If it’s too long, waiting for a period after clamping the workpiece before discharging will reduce efficiency. Adjusting the pre-pressing time should be based on the air pressure, cylinder speed, and appropriately adjusting the pre-pressing time.

 

Pressure Time: The time from the start of the switch to the action of the cylinder (movement of the electrode head) to the action of the pressure electromagnet.

 

Welding Time: Discharge time. This time cannot be internally adjusted.

 

Holding Time: Holding time, also known as pressure holding time, refers to the time when the welding machine maintains pressure after discharging. It ensures that the workpiece has no elastic deformation.

 

Pause Time: The interval time between two consecutive working processes during continuous operation.
