Reasons for Unstable Welding Points in Medium Frequency Spot Welding Machines

During the operation of medium frequency spot welding machines, various welding issues may arise, such as the problem of unstable welding points. In fact, there are several reasons for unstable welding points, as summarized below:

IF inverter spot welder

Insufficient current: Adjust the current settings.

Severe oxidation and wear of the electrodes: Replace the electrodes with new ones.

Insufficient air pressure: Check if the compressor is operating within the normal range.

Contact points not aligned on the same horizontal line, leading to uneven welding point stability.

Incomplete or false welding may cause unstable energy output, fluctuating between high and low levels, sometimes affected by fluctuations in grid voltage. In such cases, voltage stabilization or conversion to an inverter DC spot welding machine with automatic feedback compensation is necessary to ensure stable energy output and precise control.
