The Working Process of Medium Frequency Spot Welding Machines

The working process of medium frequency spot welding machines consists of several steps. Let’s talk about the operation knowledge of medium frequency spot welding machines today. For those who have just joined this field, you may not understand much about the usage and working process of spot welding machines in mechanical applications. Here’s a brief overview of the working process of medium frequency spot welding machines:

Pre-Welding Preparation:

Before welding, it’s important to remove any oxides on the surface of the electrodes and check the lubrication condition of all rotating bearings.

Check if the transmission chain is functioning properly to ensure there are no instances of jamming or misalignment between the chain and sprockets.

Thoroughly inspect the spot welding machine and associated equipment to ensure the normal operation of its circuits, water circuits, air circuits, and mechanical devices.

Welding Process Guidelines:

During operation, ensure there are no blockages in the air circuit or water cooling system. The gas should be free of moisture, and the drainage temperature should not exceed 40 degrees Celsius.

Keep the cylinders, piston rods, and bearing hinges of the cylinders smooth and well-lubricated.

Tighten the adjustment nut for the task stroke of the upper electrode. Adjust the electrode pressure according to welding standards by rotating the pressure reducing valve handle.

Post-Welding Procedures:

Ensure there are no blockages in the cooling water system and regularly discharge cooling water.

Before and after use, grind the electrode surface to maintain its effectiveness.

During the welding process, if the task needs to be paused, cut off the power supply, gas supply, initial closed water supply, remove debris and splashes.
